Tapes are recycled and therefore not guaranteed for audio quality (that said, they've all sounded pretty frickn' sweet so far). The occasional dropout and fluctuation of sound is actually considered by the band to be part of the art piece itself. The downloadable audio files are at full quality and are included as part of purchase.
